About Infinite Sheds (6)
Who builds Infinite Sheds buildings?
Our sheds are built by Amish craftsmen at our shop at 4343 Division Hwy in East Earl, PA, in Lancaster County. The framing, siding, roofing and finish work are all done in-house by our own Amish team, not by subcontractors.
Can I visit you and see sheds in person?
Yes, by appointment. Our lot is at 4343 Division Hwy, East Earl, PA 17519, and we're open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm. Call 717-690-6332 to book a visit.
Do you have other locations or dealers?
No. We're currently only in East Earl, PA, with no other lots or dealers.
Do you build custom sheds and garages?
Yes. You choose the style, size, siding, colors, doors, windows and roof, and we build it to your specs. Start with our 3D Shed Builder or request a quote.
Why choose Infinite Sheds over another company?
We are Amish-built start to finish, we sell factory-direct without a dealer markup, and we don't charge upgrade fees for basics like window color. We'll beat a written quote for a comparable building from another shed company within 25 miles of East Earl by 5%. See how we compare.
Which models do you offer?
Sheds come in Workshop, MaxiBarn, Mini Barn, Modern, Nordic, Saltbox, Western and Villa styles. We also build greenhouses, single and 3-car garages, saunas, pool bars, run-in equine shelters and playhouses. Browse Shed Models and Garage Models.
Ordering & Pricing (9)
How do I order?
Design your building in the 3D Shed Builder, buy an in-stock model online, or request a quote or call 717-690-6332. Once we agree on the specs and price, we confirm in writing and schedule your build.
How does the whole process work?
1) Pick a style and size and choose your options. 2) Get your quote and confirm your order. 3) Prepare your site, or have us install a foundation. 4) We build your shed in East Earl and deliver and set it on your foundation.
Can you give me a price?
For a price, send your size, style and options through Request a Quote and we'll send a written quote.
Will you match or beat another quote?
Yes. Send us a written quote for a comparable building from another shed company within 25 miles of our East Earl, PA location, and we'll beat it by 5%.
How are delivery charges calculated?
Delivery is priced per mile, and the rate depends on your shed's width and length. Your quote always includes the delivery cost, so there are no surprises.
How long until I get my shed?
Custom sheds typically take 4–8 weeks from order to delivery, depending on materials, our build schedule and weather. In-stock sheds can often go out within days.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Changes need to be requested in writing and may add cost. You can cancel after ordering at no charge, unless your building has already been built. In that case there is a 5% restocking fee.
How do I confirm my order?
Your order is confirmed when we receive your 70% deposit and confirm the order in writing. The remaining 30% is due on delivery.
Is building on site more expensive?
We can build any building on site when access to your property is restricted, or when it's too big to transport by road (garages over 14 feet wide, for example). The cost of an on-site build is included in your quote.
Payment (1)
What payment options do you offer? Do you offer financing or rent-to-own?
We accept cash, check, credit card, ACH and certified check. Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee. We take a 70% deposit when you order, and the remaining 30% is due on delivery. Pay in full when you order and you get a 1% discount. Infinite Sheds does not offer financing or rent-to-own, which helps keep our prices low (see why buying outright beats rent-to-own).
Delivery & Installation (11)
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York (not NYC or Long Island), Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia. See our service area.
How does my building get into my backyard?
We bring it fully assembled and set it on your prepared foundation. For tight backyards, we have a shed mover that can get it into place. Delivery includes setting the shed on the foundation.
How much clearance do I need?
You'll need a clear path at least 2 feet wider than the shed and 14 feet of height clearance, so no low overhead wires or tree branches along the way.
What if my gate or path is too narrow, or there's a tight corner?
Our shed mover handles tight spots, as long as the path is at least 2 feet wider than the shed and has 14 feet of height clearance. If your access is narrower than that, we can build your shed on site or you can choose a shed kit. Send us photos and measurements and we'll recommend the best option.
Can you deliver over a septic system, drain field or steep slope?
Please mark out your septic system or drain field before delivery day so our crew can stay clear of it. If your site has soft ground or a steep slope, you need to tell us before we finalize the purchase of your building.
How will I know my delivery date?
We'll give you roughly one week's notice of your delivery date and keep you updated by email, text or phone.
Do you deliver on weekends?
We normally deliver on weekdays. Weekend delivery is available by special request only, for buildings up to 8 feet wide, and it costs extra.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No, you don't need to be home, but we prefer that you are. Either way, please inspect your building within 48 hours of delivery and report any problems in writing.
Will you anchor the shed?
Yes. We anchor sheds on request, for an additional charge. Some townships and high-wind areas require anchoring, so check your local rules.
How long does installation take?
When we deliver a pre-built shed, we set it on your pad and level it out the same day, as long as the pad is reasonably level. If the pad needs work, leveling costs $90 an hour after the first hour on site. Our stone pad jobs typically take 1–2 days, depending on size. On site, garages take 2–4 days to install and kits take 4–8 hours.
Can you remove my old shed?
Yes, within 35 miles of East Earl, PA. We tear it down, haul away the debris and leave the area ready for your new shed. Removal is discounted when you buy a new shed. See Old Shed Removal.
Site Prep & Foundations (6)
What kind of foundation do I need?
A stone pad works great for most sheds. It drains well and resists frost heave. A concrete slab is also a great option, especially for garages, heavy loads or a more permanent base. We install both: see Stone & Concrete Foundations.
Can you install the foundation for me?
Yes. We prep the site, lay geotextile fabric, compact crushed stone and level it, and we can coordinate it with your delivery. See our foundation service.
How should I prepare my site?
Have a stone pad or concrete slab ready that's level to within 1 inch, with a clear delivery path. Extra costs caused by an unprepared site are the customer's responsibility. Read Stone Pad for Your Shed.
How much does a foundation cost?
A stone foundation is priced by the size of the pad and how far off level your site is. We can't give an exact price until we know both, so request a quote with your shed size and photos of the site. See Stone & Concrete Foundations.
Can I put my shed on concrete blocks?
Yes. Have the concrete blocks on site before delivery day, and our driver will set your shed on them at drop-off. There's a $150 fee for setting a shed on blocks.
Will you visit my site?
Yes, within reason. Site visits are normally free. If the drive is more than 1.5 hours each way, there's a $100 flat fee.
Permits (3)
Do I need a permit for my shed or garage?
It depends on your town and the building size. In Pennsylvania, one-story sheds of 200 sq ft or less are often exempt from building permits, but zoning and setback rules still apply, and electric or plumbing needs its own permit. See our PA permit guide and the 2026 permit rules by state.
Can you provide drawings for my township?
Yes. We provide top-down (site/plan view) drawings for your permit at no charge. If your township needs architectural drawings, we can provide them for an additional charge.
Will you get the permit for me?
You handle your own permit, but you won't be on your own. We support you through the process and provide the drawings you need. If you'd rather not deal with it, we can refer you to a partner company that handles the permitting for you.
Siding, Roofing & Colors (6)
What siding do you offer?
LP SmartSide (lap and board & batten), vinyl, and stained wood siding. Browse LP Smart, vinyl and stained options.
Can you match my house's siding or shingles?
Yes. We can match any siding you're looking for, from cedar shake to Hardie. For shingle colors, see Colors & Options and send us a photo of your house.
Can I choose custom paint colors?
Yes. Choose from our standard paint, vinyl, metal and shingle colors on Colors & Options, or ask for a custom paint color. Custom paint costs extra.
What roofing options are there?
Architectural shingles, ribbed metal and standing seam metal are available on every model. Compare them in metal vs. shingles.
How much snow can the roof handle?
We build every shed to a 60 psf snow load as standard, at no extra charge.
Do you use house wrap and roof underlayment?
Yes, we treat both as essentials. See why in house wrap and underlayment.
Doors, Windows & Floors (6)
What door styles are available?
Classic, Craftsman, 6-panel, 4-, 9-, 12- and 15-lite, and full glass. Browse the Door Options.
What are your shed doors made of, and can I paint them?
Doors on our sheds are made from LP Smart material and come prepainted. If you'd like to paint them yourself later, ask us to leave them primed. (Our separate replacement doors for existing sheds are fiberglass.)
Do you sell replacement doors for an existing shed?
Yes, fiberglass slab doors (no frame), with prices listed on Shed Door Replacement. You pick them up at our East Earl facility.
Do the windows open, and do they have screens?
Yes. All our shed windows are single hung: the bottom sash opens and the top doesn't, and a screen for the bottom sash is included. Shed windows come in sizes from 18x27 up to 24x48, and insulated windows can be ordered in any size you want. White, black or brown single-pane windows come at no upgrade fee.
Can I choose where the doors and windows go?
Yes. Place them where you want in the 3D Shed Builder or tell us on your quote request.
How strong is the floor? Will it hold a mower, motorcycle or truck?
Our standard shed floor comfortably holds a commercial riding mower. For heavier equipment, we can upgrade you to a heavy-duty floor that can hold a full-size truck. Learn about floor materials in LP SmartFloor vs. treated plywood.
Options & Customization (7)
Can I see what my building will look like?
Yes. Our 3D Shed Builder shows a photorealistic preview as you choose the style, size, doors and windows.
What sizes are available, and what size do I need?
Sizes run from small 8x8 sheds up to 24x36 garages. Our guide, What Size Shed Do I Need?, helps you choose.
What's the difference between the Economy, Standard, Estate and Classic editions?
We build four editions, from basic to top: Economy, Standard, Estate and Classic. Economy is a bare-bones shed with anything not immediately necessary cut out. Standard is our basic model, with everything a shed needs for longevity, from house wrap and roof paper to door plate guards, on a 5/12 roof pitch (the same as Economy). Estate is the next level up, with a 7/12 roof pitch, 4.5" overhangs all around and higher windows. Classic is like the Estate (7/12 pitch, higher windows) but has 8" overhangs on the eaves, 4.5" on the gable ends, and classic doors with windows in them.
Edition Roof pitch Overhangs What sets it apart
Economy 5/12 None noted Bare bones: only what's immediately necessary
Standard 5/12 None noted Everything for longevity: house wrap, roof paper, door plate guards
Estate 7/12 4.5" all around Higher windows
Classic 7/12 8" eaves, 4.5" gable ends Higher windows, classic doors with windows
Which add-ons do you offer?
Lofts, porches, dormers, shelves, electric packages and interior finishing. Our recommended add-ons are vents, lofts, electrical, shelves and TechShield.
Can you finish the interior?
Yes. We can finish any shed with any material you request, except drywall. We also offer three kinds of insulation: batt insulation, rigid foam board panels cut to fit, and spray foam. See our Interior Finish models.
Can you add electric?
Yes. Our standard electrical package includes 2 light switches, 1 light and 2 outlets, and you can add or remove as many fixtures as you like. See our Electric options. We run the wiring either to the outside of the building or into a breaker box. You'll need to hire a local electrician to add breakers to the box and run power from your power source to the building. Electric work usually needs its own permit.
Do you build two-story buildings?
Yes. We build two-story garages in any size you want, from 20x20 up to 60x60, including our 24x36 two-story 3-car garage.
Garages (6)
What garages do you build?
Single-car garages from 12x20 up, and 3-car garages including a 24x36 two-story model. See Single Garages and 3-Car Garages.
What size is the standard garage door, and are larger ones available?
Our standard garage door is 9x7, but we can fit any size you want from 7x7 up to 18x14, as long as it works with the wall layout.
Do garage doors include openers?
Openers aren't included as standard. You can add one as an optional upgrade for an extra cost.
Are large garages delivered in pieces or built on site?
We deliver garages up to 14 feet wide. Garages wider than that, and any building that can't be moved down the road or into your yard, we build on site.
What colors can I get on a garage?
Garages come in the same paint, vinyl, metal and shingle colors as our sheds. See Colors & Options.
What foundation does a garage need?
A concrete slab is a great choice for a garage, and a stone pad also works well for many garages. We install both: see Foundations.
Shed Kits & DIY (7)
What comes in a shed kit?
Pre-cut lumber, hardware, doors, windows and detailed instructions, made from the same materials as our built sheds. See Shed Kits & DIY. We offer installation on every shed and garage we sell, kits included.
How long does a kit take to build, and how many people do I need?
A shed kit typically takes 3–4 people about 4–8 hours to assemble, depending on its size and complexity.
What tools do I need?
You'll need the standard house-building tools used on a construction jobsite.
What if I have trouble assembling my kit?
We don't offer support to customers who assemble a kit themselves, so make sure you have building experience before choosing a DIY kit. If you'd rather not build it yourself, we can install the kit for you.
Does building the kit myself void the warranty?
Yes. There is no warranty on a kit you assemble yourself. Our 3-year warranty only covers buildings we build or install. If you want warranty coverage, have us install the kit for you.
Is a kit cheaper than a built shed?
A shed kit is the same price as the same shed delivered pre-built. The savings come from putting it together yourself. Having our crew come out and build it on site costs roughly 40% more.
Where do you ship kits?
Kits are delivered on a flatbed truck or trailer to the same 10 states as our sheds: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York (not NYC or Long Island), Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia.
In-Stock Sheds (2)
Do you have sheds ready now?
Yes. Our In Stock buildings are already built, with the same quality and pricing as custom builds. If an item shows a stock count, it's ready to go.
How fast can an in-stock shed be delivered?
Often within days, depending on weather and our schedule. You can also pick one up from our East Earl lot. Just bring a flatbed trailer. We'll set the building on your trailer, and from there you're fully responsible for strapping it down and hauling it.
Using Your Building (5)
Can I use my shed as a studio, office, gym or she shed?
Yes. Many customers do, often with interior finish, electric and extra windows. See best styles for a workshop, office, studio or gym.
Can I live in a shed or rent it out?
Living space falls under building codes and zoning, so check with your town first. We build home offices and tiny homes, including fully insulated buildings with an electrical package.
Is a shed big enough for a golf simulator?
Our tallest wall height is 11'3". Tell us what you're planning and we'll suggest a size.
Should I insulate my shed?
It depends on how you'll use it. Read insulating your shed: pros and cons. If you decide to insulate, we offer three kinds of insulation: batt insulation, rigid foam board panels cut to fit, and spray foam.
How do I keep it ventilated?
Gable and ridge vents keep air moving and cut down on moisture. See Maximizing Ventilation.
Warranty & Care (4)
What warranty do you offer?
Every building we build or install comes with a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, starting on the delivery date. Shed kits you assemble yourself are not covered.
What if something is wrong at delivery?
Inspect your building within 48 hours and report any problems in writing or by email, with photos.
Can I return my shed?
Refunds are limited to non-delivery or a proven defect under warranty. See our Terms & Conditions. We do not offer returns on in-stock buildings.
How do I care for my shed?
Touch up the paint every 5 years. If you have a vinyl building, pressure wash it every 10 years.
